Who Is Danica Hart From Chapel Hart?

Danica Hart is one of the sisters from the famous band Chapel Hart. She started her singing career in 2014 with her sister Devyn Hart and her cousin Treat Swindle.

Gretchen Wilson has also been named as a significant musical influence by both Danica and Devynn. According to Joey Guerra of the Houston Chronicle, Chapel Hart's use of vocal harmony is crucial to creating their distinctive sound. Danica's vocals reminded him of Etta James, while other tracks had elements of a "classic girl group" vibe, which he also thought was similar to Danica.

Danica Hart sings lead on most of the songs from Chapel Hart's two studio albums, but the group is known for its close harmonies. America's Got Talent viewers had a peek at that.

The three began busking by playing cover songs in New Orleans' streets and soon began writing their tunes. Under the alias Hyperphlyy, Danica Hart and Swindle started recording in 2016 and released the EP Made for Me (2016). Under the name Hyperphlyy, they issued the album Out the Mud in 2019, which included Devynn. After a church in their hometown, the band changed its name to Chapel Hart. They also performed at music festivals in Louisiana and Innsbruck, Austria.

How Old Is Danica Hart?

Danica was born on September 20, 1992, and is currently 29 years old. She seems to be the group's senior member.

Although the group has been performing together since they were little children (and they are already receiving praise worldwide), Danica told the Judges that it has been challenging for them to break through in the United States as colored country singers.

Danica and her band have a natural talent for inspiring crowd participation during live performances in song and dance. They frequently talk about how powerful music is at bringing people from diverse backgrounds, beliefs, and spheres of life together.

Chapel Hart was chosen for CMT's Next Women of Country in 2021. This organization has a history of supporting aspiring female country musicians like Kelsea Ballerini, Ashley McBride, and Gabby Barrett, to mention a few.

Danica Hart And Her sister rose to fame through American Got Talent

Sisters Danica Hart and Devynn Hart, as well as their cousin Trea Swindle, make up the American country music group Chapel Hart, which is based in Poplarville, Mississippi.

Swindle first settled in New Orleans about ten years ago, and the trio met there. She was soon joined by Danica and then Devynn, and the three of them gained popularity busking on Royal Street, which is famed for its music and art.

During the audition for America's Got Talent, Chapel Hart sang an original song named “You Can Have Him, Jolene,” a homage to country icon Dolly Parton and her famous song “Jolene.”

Hart declined the invitation, but after being called repeatedly by the same agent, she finally agreed to come on the show, according to Danica. The latter spoke with the blog Taste of Country.

They were found in 2020 by their manager and producer, Jeff Glixman, a record producer. In 2020, a stand-alone song titled "Jesus & Alcohol" was released, with Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top playing guitar.

Gibbons portrays a pastor in the song's music video, which was also recorded. The video, which was broadcast on CMT after its release, also included cameos by T. Graham Brown and Deborah Allen. On LeRoux's 2020 album One of Those Days, they also provided backing vocals.

They Received America's Got Talent Golden Buzzer

During Tuesday's (July 19) episode of America's Got Talent, Sofia Vergara, Heidi Klum, Simon Cowell, and Howie Mandel were greeted with a bevy of talent, but perhaps no other performance left them more impressed than country group Chapel Hart.

The judges invited host Terry Crews to the judges' table because they unanimously concurred that they would advance Chapel Hart to the finals if they had a gold buzzer.

The judges and technicians then made a historic choice by leaning in and pressing the gold buzzer to advance Chapel Hart to the live stages.

They will proceed directly to the live finals in mid-September after receiving America's Got Talent golden buzzer and skipping the following two rounds of competition. They have a few tour dates scheduled in the United States and one in the United Kingdom.

They came to Nashville around 2015, and two record labels have met with them, according to their Instagram. Prior to this week, their most notable success was being selected as one of CMT's Next Women of Country for 2021. Chapel Hart's journey to stardom has been protracted and laborious.

Danica Hart Family

According to Swindle, they are "three of 108 first cousins," and one of the few stations they could pick up at home was a country music station.

Hart's sister had a good and fun upbringing. In the interview, Swindle stated that she and Danica used to climb aboard their uncle's lawnmower and drive up and down the river as if it were a car.

Danica has not shared much about her parents. However, Danica remembers her dad listening to Kenny Rogers and George Jones recordings when she was a kid and drifting off to sleep in the car. She described it as a bonding experience with her father.

Her parents must be incredibly proud of her, given all the success she has achieved in such a short time.

Danica Hart Net Worth

According to sources, Danica Hart's net worth is estimated to be $500k. Her singing career is the primary source of her income.

Danica prefers to lead a simple life because it is evident that everything she does is done out of genuine enthusiasm and not out of a desire for financial gain.

She mainly earns from the collaboration with her band, Chapel Hart. The Girls Are Back in Town is the name of the group's second studio album, which was revealed in July 2021. Glixman also produced this album.

"Made for Me" was the next single and music video to drop in 2022. Midway through 2022, Chapel Hart had intended to tour with the Indigo Girls, but she postponed the trip after learning that Emily Saliers had been diagnosed with COVID-19.
