David James Myers, also known as Dave Myers is a celebrity chef and television presenter from England. Furthermore, he is best known as one half of the Hairy Bikers, together with Si King.

Is Dave Myers Leaving Hairy Bikers?

Dave Myers is not present on Hairy Bikers for a certain period but he is not yet leaving the show.

Dave, who was born in Barrow, disclosed in May of this year that he was battling cancer when talking on the Hairy Bikers Agony Uncles podcast.

In fact, Myers revealed his cancer diagnosis on an episode of the Agony Uncles podcast in May 2022. He claimed he didn't want to "hide under a rock," but he would be "writing off" the rest of the year for TV work.

As a result, Dave Myers has not announced his departure from Hairy Bikers. Nevertheless, due to the fact that he is undergoing chemotherapy, he is now on leave from the program for a certain period of time. As a result, he will not be appearing on the show for at least a year.

Previously, Myers was diagnosed with glaucoma in 2018. In October 2021, Myers' colleague Hairy Biker Si King reported that he was recuperating from COVID-19.

The 62-year-old, who seemed emaciated, was showered with well-wishes from viewers as he acknowledged that the loss of his signature facial hair had affected him the most.

During a recent engagement in Bolton, King told fans, "I simply miss having my beard, the feeling of it, because your skin's different and all peachy." He did say he was "fine" with the remainder of his hair coming off.

He then earned a fine art degree from Goldsmiths, University of London, as well as a master's degree in art history. When Dave was a student, he purchased a Cossack Ural Mars Mk III with a sidecar.
