Before losing in his seventh game, which was broadcast on June 14, he had amassed more than $160,000. Ahasic's winning streak began adversly when he faced Philadelphia resident Ryan Long, a rideshare driver who had won 16 straight games.

During the game, the participants were asked which of the Greek mythology's Argonauts heroes belonged to the same Spartan family. Ahasic remembered reading a cryptic entry on Castor and Pollux, the Gemini twins.

They were on this boat with Jason and the Argonauts, according to one sentence that was all there was. I don't know why, but that just stuck in my head," he said to the College of LAS.

He did as he was told, and he was correct. The host, Mayim Bialik of "The Big Bang Theory," said that Ahasic was "unable to be caught" after the meteorologist won the first game and five more after that.

After Ryan Long's defeat on "Jeopardy!" after 16 victories, Eric Ahasic earned the moniker "giant killer," Ahasic is currently undefeated in six games and has been dubbed the next "potential super champion" of the competition.
