Murray Bartlett, an Australian actor, thanked and call his partner Matt his "sanctuary" after his historic Emmy win. 

Bartlett is an actor known for his role in the HBO series August, Noor, and Looking. He worked in various television series in his career phase. He played the role of Luke Foster in Neighbours, Dr. Brad Ivory in The Ferals in The Dentist, and Dad and Dave: On Our Selection as Sandy Tayler. 

Previously, Bartlett emerged in G.P., Flipper, The Tower, Half Mongrel, Murder Call, Above the Law, The Three Stooges, Muffled Love, Flat Chat, McLeod's daughter, The Secret Life of Us, Farscape, All My Children, Postmortem and more.

Bartlett thanked his partner Matt for being his sanctuary after he won Emmy. In the 74th Primetime Emmy Awards, which was a tied race between three shows, Bartlett received the victory for his recent television series, "White Lotus". He thanked the creator for giving him one of the best experiences and providing the role in his series. 

Barlett added that he truly admired and adored Mike. As he accepted the award, he mentioned his P-Town family, his boyfriend Matt, and his mother.

Bartlett, Jake Lacy, and Steve Zahn had been nominated for the HBO series. Also, the Hulu series Dopesick scored nominations for Will, Peter, and Micheal Stughlbarg. Even Seth Rogen had been selected for the category for his role on Hulu's show Pam & Tommy. 

Bartlett played the role of hotel manager Armond in the Mike-directed series. The actor hugged his co-actors, Zahn, 54, and 37-year-old Lacy, before he stepped up on stage. The actor received the award from Jean Smart and Hannah Enibinder, a Hacks starts. 

Murray Bartlett Supportive Family

Bartlett was born to a supportive family in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, on March 20, 1971. He is currently 51 years old. At the age of 4, his household transferred to Perth, and he was raised in the largest city in Australia state of Western Australia. 

Bartlett started his career in the television series The Flying Doctors as Michael Freeman in The Unluckiest Boy in Town in 1987. He appeared in the Australian drama television series headLand while pursuing his career in Australia.

Bartlett appeared in the television series Home and Away as Randy Evans in 13 episodes of the show in 1992. The same year, he appeared in the television series Police Rescue as Anthony Scanlon in With a Vengeance. 

Moreover, Barlett appeared in the television series E Street as Jason King for six episodes. Later, he emerged in the television series A Country Practice as Owen Wyatt / Richard Welbourne in three episodes, including Guilty Party: Part 2, Guilty Party: Part 1, and Riding for a Fall: Part 2.

The HBO series star Bartlett received his first Emmy Award throughout his career as an actor for his outstanding role in the series as Armond. On the stage at the Primetime Emmys, he thanked the director of the show Mike. 

According to Bartlett, his mother inspired him and believed in him. She may be the person who has encouraged the actor in his profession. The actor wins the first nomination for his role in the HBO series for Outstanding Supporting Actor. 

Scott Sweeney starred alongside Barlett in the HBO series in 2021. The American actress is the daughter of Scott Sweeney and lawyer Lisa Mudd Sweeney.

However, Bartlett received the title in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie. The series was a surreal experience for the actor. He emerged in outrageous scenes in the series, including the part in a hotel guest's luggage.

Last weekend, the HBO series won five Emmys at the Creative Arts ceremony. After his win in the Daytime Emmys, the actor especially mentioned Casey Bloys, Francesca Orsi, and Nora Skinner as true champions.
