American former baseball pitcher Timothy Lincecum's wife Cristin Coleman passed away, according to the San Francisco Giants. This news has sparked interest in his late brother Sean Lincecum. 

Sean passed away in February 2018, leaving behind his friends and family.

Who Was Tim Lincecum's Brother Sean Lincecum?

Sean Lincecum was baseball player Tim Lincecum's older brother. People who follow the latter's career do the tragedy around his life. Sean, unfortunately, passed away in the year 2018. Born around 1983, his parents were Rebbeca Lincecum and Chris Lincecum.

He frequently trained with his brother Tim when he was alive, which had a significant impact on his career. In memory of his older brother Sean, Tim presently wears the number 44 jersey.

Tim Lincecum, who is 38 years old, was born Timothy Leroy Lincecum on June 15, 1984, in Bellevue, Washington, in the United States. Lincecum, a product of Liberty Senior High School in Renton, Washington, played baseball in college for the University of Washington, where he was honored with the Golden Spikes Award in 2006.

When the San Francisco Giants picked Lincecum tenth overall in that year's MLB Draft, he became the first Washington Huskie to be taken in the first round.

We all are aware that the baseball player's older brother Sean passed away five years ago at the age of 37. However, apart from the mention of the tragedy, the possible cause of his death has not been mentioned. 

Today, another tragedy hits the Lincecum family after Tim's wife loses her life to cancer. 

The San Mateo Journal announced Coleman's passing last month; she passed away on June 27 from cancer. Coleman oversaw a primary school in Burlingame, a community in the Bay Area.

Cristin's parents said in a letter to the Journal that although she was unwell, she never showed any signs of fear, rage, or self-pity but that she was truly sad to be leaving them all so soon and for making them cry. Randy and Sue Coleman, Cristin's parents, described her as a beautiful human being who impacted so many hearts.

Rebecca Asis, Lincecum's mother, is an immigrant from the Philippines. Chris, his father, was a Boeing employee. Tim fought for a bigger signing bonus when he was chosen so that his father could take early retirement.

Chris worked with his son to improve his pitching action starting at the age of four. He videotaped his son's sessions and games and watched the footage. Lincecum played two seasons of varsity baseball at Liberty Senior High School in the Issaquah School District.

He was the 2003 3A Kingco Athletic Conference champion for his school as a senior and was named the state's Player of the Year. The Chicago Cubs selected Lincecum in the 48th round of the 2003 Major League Baseball draft, but he declined to sign, choosing instead to enroll in college.
