After two weeks of birth, he got adopted by Nicholas Bianchi and his wife, Frances Scioliono-Bianchi, in August 1951. He finds himself in deep trouble from a young age, with his mother portraying him as a compulsive falsifier from the time he could talk.

He would usually fall into oblivious, trance-like fantasies where his eyes would roll back into his head. From this manifestation, a physician interpreted the five-year-old Bianchi with petit mal seizures.

Frequently, he gave physical examinations by doctors as an involuntary urination problem, causing him a great deal of humiliation.

In 1964 his adoptive father died unexpectedly from pneumonia while he refused to cry or show any other signs of grief. His mother had to work after the death of his husband while her son was studying high school and was familiar with keeping him home from school for long periods.
