Elgin also has his own family and a pretty big family, with nine children. He married his wife, rapper Tonya M. Johnston famously known as Sole, and had two daughters together.

The couple split in 2015, but the musician had five children from his former relationships and partners. In addition to the seven kids of his own, he has two stepchildren, which makes Ginuwine a father of nine kids.
