The 57-year-old music icon died quietly on Monday(Aug 2022) at her home in New South Wales Southern Highlands, according to family officials. She was surrounded by her family.

Margaret Urlich Children - How Many Kids Did She Have?

Margaret Mary Urlich, who recently died on august 22, 2022, was an ARIA Award-winning musician based in New South Wales. She debuted her solo album Safety in Numbers which was released in 1989 and won Breakthrough Artist-Album at the 1992 Aria Awards. The album achieved triple platinum status in Australia and peaked at No. 5 on the Australian album charts and No. 4 on the New Zealand album charts.

According to several reliable sources, the New Zealand music diva reportedly has an Ava-named daughter. This comes after Margaret disclosed that she had attempted to hide her pregnancy even when it was eight months old during her most successful year. But it is not confirmed whether Ava is her biological child or not.

Less than a year old, Ava has given Urlich and her longtime companion George Gorga something to consider and give thought to outside of their musical professions. 

The couple's home in Bowral, in the southern highlands of New South Wales, now includes a studio, thanks to Gorga, an aspiring sound engineer from Australia. His focus will now be divided between his work and his daughter.

The famous New Zealand musician hitched her longtime boyfriend, George Gorga. However, the date of their marriage, wedding venues, and married life have not been made public.

Ulrich struggled with cancer for over two years and died on August 22, 2022, at the age of 57. She was at that time surrounded by her family at home in Southern Highlands.

Margaret Ulrich was born on January 24, 1965, in Auckland, New Zealand. The musician grew up with her six other siblings. However, Pat is said to be her only biological brother. Her parents' identity is not known at the moment. 

Along With her brother Pat, Tim Calder, Perry Marshall, Jan Foulkes, Neville Hall, John Fearon, and Jay F-bula in the new wave band Peking Man, Margaret Mary Urlich began her career as a vocalist.

Later, she was a part of the all-girl pop ensemble When The Cat's Away in New Zealand. Late in the 1980s, Urlich relocated to Australia, and in 1989 she released her solo first album, Safety in Numbers. Moreover, in 1991, she received an ARIA Award for "Best Breakthrough Artist."

Margaret's popular albums count on Chameleon Dreams(1992), Second Nature(1999), and The deepest Blue(1995). For her enormous impact and lasting influence on New Zealand music, she was inducted into the New Zealand Music Hall of Fame.

Her family supported her in her every endeavor throughout her musical career. Unfortunately, she caught cancer, fought for two and half years, and then died peacefully today.
