But because he was unaware that his bottle's filter was missing, he developed meningitis and cerebral edema, a brain swelling. He was bed bound for three months.

After regaining his health, he appeared in the popular West End musical Funny Girl alongside Sheridan Smith and Natasha J. Barnes. His health had been good after recovering from that incident.

Thus, his cause of death is unknown at this time.

How Was Darius Danesh Health Condition?

Darius Danesh went through a health scare in 2017. He collapsed and went into a coma after suffering from meningitis and cerebral edema.

His non-profit organization, Fresh2o, was launched to dig wells in Africa. They had planned on using profits from portable water filters that could fit in bottles. Thus, they planned on making a demonstration video to raise funds to get the water filters to Africa.

They went to the Thames next to a sewage outlet and drank the water from there, thinking his bottles had filters attached. Moreover, the filters removed 99.9% of water-borne pathogens, bacteria, and viruses.

He successfully raised funds and went to Glasgow to attend his mother's birthday. There, he collapsed, and his father urgently took him to the hospital.

Luckily, they diagnosed him soon and found an inflammatory virus from the Thames had stayed in his system. When he woke from a coma, his mother was in tears and said they had almost lost him.
