A volunteer firefighter named Brandon Weaver lost his life in a dirt bike accident on Friday night while still in his twenties. Weaver's friends and family are mourning the loss of their loved one with prayers and condolences pouring in from around the country.

Brandon was a young man from Templeton who was a part of the Pine Township- Templeton Volunteer Fire Department and passed away after meeting an accident in Armstrong County.

The young man's accident occurred on July 15 on Monday, and Pine Township Templeton Volunteer Fire Department stated the death of one of their firefighters on July 16.

The post wrote,

"It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we have to announce the very unexpected passing of one of our firefighters, Brandon Weaver. Our sincere heartfelt condolences go out to the Weaver and Blaniar families in this tough time."

The fire department young Weaver worked for is holding a candlelight service for Brandon on July 23. With the news of Brandon's passing, the community and his friends are coming together to help the grieving family in this desperate time with anything they can.

Death Caused By Dirt Bike Accident

Rescuers found Brandon Weaver fatally injured after a dirt bike accident in Armstrong County. On his arrival at the hospital, the doctors pronounced him dead at the hospital upon arrival.

According to Armstrong County Coroner's office statement, Weaver lost control of the bike and hit a tree after leaving the road. They also revealed that the young firefighter was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, which resulted in such fatal injuries.

Brandon was riding a 2019 YZ 250 motorcycle on Armstrong County's State Route 1030 when he suddenly lost control of his dirt bike.

He was a kind-hearted soul who volunteered to be a firefighter to help others in need. Weaver graduated high school from Kittanning Senior High School in Pennsylvania.

The 26-year-old man worked at the PJ Dick, Trumbull, and Lindy Group before his passing while also volunteering as a firefighter.

He was married to his wife, Megan Weaver, who thanked all the people for the kind words and food they sent along with helping them get through the difficult times.

She posted details about her husband's funeral informing friends and family that they will be holding Brandon's funeral held in Mantini Funeral home on 701 6th Avenue, Ford City, PZ 166226, on Wednesday, July 20, starting from 11 am.

His brother Damian Weaver also shared some pictures of his brother with his son and mourned the loss of his kind and loving brother.

A friend of Brandon set up a GoFundMe page for the late firefighter in hopes of being some help to the family of his deceased, writing,

"I am helping to raise money for Brandon Weavers Family and all the unexpected funeral/life expenses they will encounter! Also, to help Megan take off as much time as she needs before returning to work! This family deserves to have enough time to grieve this tragic loss!"

It is so great to see the community come forward to help the young man's family heal from the tragic loss.
