Kevin Knowles, the suspect in a Warrnambool murder, got charged by police with robbing a woman's much-loved dog.

He got discharged in February 1972 after he worked in the mines at Mount Tom Price in W.A. as a truck driver for ten months to save money to attend university.

Moreover, Knowles got chosen for a year of intensive Japanese language course at the Australian National University in Canberra and Sophia University in Tokyo after graduation.
