Liz Truss has two daughters named Liberty and Frances O'Leary. She has been married to her husband, Hugh O'Leary, for over two decades. 

After the Conservative Party leadership race was reduced to the top two contenders on Wednesday, Rishi Sunak or Liz Truss will take over as the next prime minister of the United Kingdom, succeeding Boris Johnson.

Lizz Truss shares two daughters with her husband, Hugh O'Leary. She had met her spouse at a Conservative Party Conference in 1997. The two of them connected and decided to go on a date.

However, their first date was disastrous when O'Leary sprained his ankle while ice-skating. Years later, during an interview, the interviewers even told her that her partner literally fell for her.

The couple married in 2000 and have two children named Liberty and Frances. There are two years of an age gap between her kids. Liberty celebrates her birthday every November 28, whereas Frances celebrates it on March 19. 

Liberty is the youngest child who will be turning 14 this year, whereas Frances is the eldest kid who has turned 16 this year. Their age was known based on the birthday posts made by Lizz on her IG handle.

Lizz was born to John Kenneth and Priscilla Mary Truss in Oxford, England. Her mother was a nurse, a teacher, and a supporter of the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament. Her father is an emeritus professor of pure mathematics at the University of Leeds.

When she was four years old, the family relocated to Scotland. Truss attended Roundhay School in the Roundhay neighborhood of Leeds after attending West Primary School in Paisley, Renfrewshire.

After that, she spent a year living in Canada. She completed her philosophy, politics, and economics studies at Merton College in Oxford in 1996.

Her family has different political views compared to her. Of course, not everyone in the family, but her parents surely have different opinions. Both of them support the left wing. 

When she stood up for election to Parliament as a Conservative, her father declined to support her campaign, but her mother helped her daughter. 

Liz Truss Husband Is With Her Despite The Cheating Scandal

Liz Truss married an accountant husband, Hugh O'Leary, in 2000. However, in 2006, she became embroiled in a cheating scandal with Mark Field, a former Tory MP.

The relationship lasted until June 2005, or almost 18 months. In 2006, the Daily Mail published information on the controversy. Field separated and got divorced. But, Truss managed to save her marriage. Her husband forgave her, and they have been living their married life happily. 

She usually shares pictures of them spending time together on her social media handle.
