Law and GoV DCU professor, Dr. Vicky Conway, passed away at a quite young age, and Twitter has reactions. An extremely hardworking, intelligent, and lovely human being, she will be missed badly. 

Residing in Ireland, Dublin, Vicky's last tweet on Twitter was on July 16. She's wished her countrymen, trans and Intersex pride. With over 34.1k tweets, the professor had around 9 thousand followers on the platform.

Twitter reports that Dr. Vicky Conway passed away due to unforeseen circumstances. The media awaits authentic confirmation before publishing the final news. However, neither her family members nor her close members have come forward to announce her death for now. 

A former member of the Policing Authority and the Commission on the Future of Policing, Dr. Vicky Conway was an associate professor of law at Dublin City University (DCU) and the host of the podcast Policed in Ireland.

She has held roles at the University of Kent, Queen's University Belfast, the University of Limerick, and the University of Leeds before joining the School of Law and Governance at DCU in July 2015.
Vicky holds degrees from Queen's University Belfast, the University of Edinburgh (MSSc Criminology 2003), and UCC (Ph.D. 2008, PGCert Higher Education 2010).

The first Convenor of Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion for the School, she was promoted to Associate Professor of Law in 2017. Vicky was a dedicated socio-legal scholar who thinks that scholarly work ought to be cutting-edge, challenging, and intended to directly influence legislative and policy developments.

Vicky Conway's Death Cause As Twitter Pays Tribute To Her

Tributes are flooding in on Twitter and other social media platforms after the shocking news of her untimely demise. However, every announcement has just mentioned that she passed away and how much she meant to them without referring to her death cause. 

There weren't any reports on her past illness that might have caused her death today. The unforeseen circumstance leading to this has definitely devastated people around her, and the Internet is an example. 

Gareth Mulvena says, "When Tony texted me this awful news last night, I was devastated. I hadn't been as close to Vicky in recent years, but years ago, we were good friends and once went on an enjoyable trip to Vancouver together. My thoughts are with Vicky's family and friends." 

Similarly, Teresa Malarky tweets, "So sad and shocked to hear of Vicky Conway's death.  I met her several times during the #Repealthe8th campaign - she did excellent work and was a lovely person. She will be so missed." 

Other tweets are also similar, as in how each individual found her to be a lovely person. 

The obituary report is yet to surface on the web, and the funeral date is expected to be provided soon. We hope that her family gets the strength to overcome this unfortunate loss.
